About the Ball

The Ball celebrates the officers and military supporters within the Greater Toronto Area – largely reservists – and provides an elegant evening of dinner and entertainment as well as the opportunity to acknowledge the sacrifices made by our military. In recent years, the Ball has been opened to leading members of the business community. In doing so, the event serves to further strengthen the connection between the military and business communities in Canada’s financial capital.

 The Headquarters of 32 Canadian Brigade Group stands as the strategic heart of the Army Reserve in the Greater Toronto Area, tracing its lineage through decades of evolution within the Canadian Armed Forces. Operating from its command hub at Denison Armoury, the HQ has masterfully coordinated the efforts of over 3,000 soldiers, bridging the gap between local citizen-soldiers and national defense requirements. Its history is marked by the successful execution of critical domestic operations—from the historic 1999 snow emergency to the recent frontline support of Operation LASER—while simultaneously preparing thousands of personnel for international deployments. Through a legacy of disciplined leadership and administrative excellence, 32 CBG HQ remains the essential architect of the Brigade’s readiness, ensuring its units remain a professional and responsive force for the GTA and Canada
